Another great article about a '50 Champion and its owner - this time in the Washington Times.
"Murray Welsh can offer no reason why a 1950 Studebaker Champion Regal Deluxe four-door sedan is parked in his garage other than its peculiar appeal.
The bullet-nose Studebaker was built in the South Bend, Ind., factory Aug. 17, 1950 and was then shipped to Philadelphia. Its whereabouts are unknown from then until Mr. Welsh and his wife, Linda, went Studebaker shopping about a decade ago."

Thanks for visiting my site, hppt://mikes-show-n-shine.blogspot.com and leaving a comment. I have put a link to your site on my sideboard entitled "Classic Studebakers". I had a '55 Studebaker Speedster, yellow leather and a 352 V8 engine, Borg Warner trans. Loved that car. According to an article in a classic car magazine, mine was one of five 55's built with the "Golden Hawk" emblem and the 352 engine. I had it up to 145 one day on recap tires that were almost bald. That is what a dumb 16 year old does.
