1952 Studebaker Commander
There was a wonderful "Studebaker Story" in the San Francisco Chronicle yesterday. Here's an excerpt and an image:
"My ride is a 1952 Studebaker Commander, four-door sedan, "Tahoe" green, with suicide rear doors. In the 1950s, when we kids could identify any car at a distance by year, make and model, I was fascinated by Studebakers. We didn't see many of them, but a neighbor of ours in Los Angeles had a 1948 yellow Commander sedan. What a beautiful, modern car that was!"
Read more of this Studebaker story on SF Gate.
