Many thanks to Leonard Shepherd and Mr. Biggs on the SDC forum for their insight regarding the horn button on my 1950 Studebaker Champion.
It appears that the horn button on our Champ is not native to the car, a 1950 Studebaker Champion DeLuxe. Mr. Biggs states "That button is proper for '47 and '48 cars touting Deluxe or Regal Deluxe trim. Part# 523103. Your car should have the pretty red button that bears the Studebaker Crest design. Part# 526359. You've got the right ring for a '50, but it's gotten an earlier emblem installed in it somewhere along the way."
As a side note, all interior clocks were optional on all Studebaker Champion models.

Studebaker Electric - Art
A quick "thank you" to my sister for the Studebaker collage using the Studebaker Electric buttons/glass beads.
I'm researching the origin of these buttons. An SDC member estimates that they were produced in the 1950s.
